Collaborators and Stakeholders

This initiative is powered by Global Vision Support International Foundation (GVSIF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery and community empowerment, and Helpline Social Support Initiative, a key partner in bringing health services closer to the people. Together, they aim to bridge the healthcare gap and create a healthier society.

Projected Outreach Goals

  • Provide free medical consultations and hernia surgeries to over 1,000 individuals in Iperu Remo and neighboring communities.

  • Raise awareness about hernia and other related health conditions through thorough medical assessments, including free blood pressure and blood glucose checks to identify underlying risk factors.

  • Improve the quality of life by offering timely intervention for hernia cases, with free surgeries and post-operative care to ensure full recovery and reduced complications.

  • Offer lifesaving and restorative procedures, focusing on hernia repairs and other minor surgical interventions for individuals who otherwise lack access to quality surgical care.

  • Build trust and strengthen community confidence in accessible healthcare services by establishing strategic partnerships with local hospitals, NGOs, and medical outreach organizations.

Why This Outreach Matters

Healthcare is a fundamental right, yet many rural areas in Nigeria, including Iperu Remo, lack access to quality surgical and medical services. By bringing essential care — including free hernia surgeries — to Iperu Remo and surrounding communities, this outreach will make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals living with untreated or undiagnosed hernias. It will help prevent complications, reduce pain and physical limitations, and significantly improve the overall quality of life. Additionally, it will encourage the community to seek timely medical attention and adopt a culture of regular health checkups, ultimately promoting better long-term health outcomes.
