Projected Outreach Goals

  • Detect undiagnosed cases of hypertension, diabetes, and vision impairment through routine health screenings.
  • Improve access to essential medications for individuals unable to afford routine healthcare.
  • Promote preventive healthcare practices through patient education and early disease detection.
  • Enhance vision health through free eye examinations and prescription glasses where required.
  • Strengthen partnerships between healthcare professionals, faith-based organizations, and local communities to encourage long-term health awareness and sustainable healthcare interventions.

Why This Outreach Matters

Many communities continue to experience significant barriers to accessing quality healthcare due to financial constraints, distance from medical facilities, and shortages of healthcare professionals. Preventable conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and untreated eye diseases often remain undiagnosed until they become severe.

The GVSIF Free Medical Care Outreach is designed to bridge this healthcare gap by bringing qualified healthcare professionals directly into the communities. Through free consultations, health screenings, medications, and eye care services, the programme aims to improve health outcomes while encouraging a culture of regular medical check-ups and preventive healthcare.

Beyond immediate medical intervention, the outreach also serves as an opportunity to educate community members on healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and the importance of seeking timely medical attention.
