Together, they aim to bridge the healthcare gap and create a healthier society.

  • Provide free medical consultations and cataract surgeries to over 1,000 individuals in Iperu Remo and neighboring communities.
  • Raise awareness about eye health and common conditions like cataracts, through comprehensive eye screenings, including free blood pressure and blood glucose checks.
  • Improve the quality of life by addressing vision impairments with free cataract surgeries and providing free eyeglasses post-surgery.
  • Offer lifesaving and restorative procedures, focusing on cataract surgeries and other minor eye-related surgeries for individuals in need.
  • Build trust and strengthen community confidence in accessible healthcare services by establishing strategic partnerships with local hospitals, NGOs, and eye care organizations.

Why This Outreach Matters

Healthcare is a fundamental right, yet many rural areas in Nigeria, including Iperu Remo, lack access to quality medical services. By bringing essential eye care services, including free cataract surgeries, to Iperu Remo and surrounding communities, this outreach will make a significant impact on many lives. It will prevent untreated vision loss, improve quality of life, and encourage the community to prioritize regular eye health checkups, leading to better overall health management.
